Ah, I think we have that country difference cropping up again! Here, most hay fields are a maximum of 5 acres, most are much smaller. Could well be. It's a widely acknowledged threat here, which is why many people are against feeding haylage at all, and I will only feed it when I know exactly how it's been made.
