See Linda Tellington Jones' book Understanding Horse Behavior ..." This is
a great book. It has so much information I can only absorb so much at a
time. I wish I could just have a wisdom infusion - IV would be good.
To quote the book, "The body rope and body wrap improve a horse's body
awareness and his ability to move in a smooth and coordinated manner, the
twin hallmarks of proprioception."
I find this fascinating because the same technique is used for children with
sensory integration deficits.
The PT who treated our kids for years did cranial sacrial (sp?) with many of
her brain injured clients and also used the same wrap. I think she felt it
enhanced spatial awareness.
