Hi Judy, yes it is on steep down hills that it slips forward. I had posted earlier about contoured girths and got some great advise. Then I cam across this pad claiming it stopped saddles from slipping forward and wondered if it really did work. My mare is built downhill with a table top back and flat withers, so not much to stop the saddle from going forward. I am getting a Nomad (dixie mightnight) no sweat pad from Dana as I have a Sensation G3. Dana said she has had good results of saddles not slipping forward with the Nomad. So we shall see. I was curious about the Wintec in case the Nomad does not help. And seeing as it was on an Icelandic horse Tack store I thought someone might have used one.
