Welcome to nature. All things considered, I would
still rather have a dog quilled by a porcupine than
sprayed by a skunk. I suggest you invest in a set of
hemostatic pliers (the kind that clamp and lock) for
ease in quill removal. In case of skunk, keep some
peroxide and baking soda on hand. Or, maybe just put
up a fence for the dog....

dogs. One on the leash, one off but I caught the old
