also, maybe times are hard in the uk as they are here?  I dont know
how it is there.  But here i dont think much of anyone should be horse
breeding right now!  Unless you have a very secure income and/or you
plan to always keep the offspring or have a buyer already waiting in
line to buy foals...  I just didnt want to sound like I am pro
breeding.  breeding here is very iffy i think....  so many great
horses needing good homes, so many nutty people getting horses and not
having a clue how to take care of them properly...  did I post about
my friend sylvia helping someone who got a free horse for her
"children" and the children were age 10 months and 3, the horse had
never been handled a day in its life and was a fired up nervous wreck
two year old, and the "paddock" she had set up would not hold a med
size dog much less a horse...  it was terrifying she said.  said the 3
year old actually walked UNDER the horse as she was backing it out of
the trailer!  yiiiii
