So far he only ever shows trot in the field, though he tolted a bit when he was small. His mum is 4 gaited and I think he will be too (in the Icelandic sense, ie without flying pace). He has really high action in his trot which is clear, floating and two beat and he's not related to any other horse in this country (other than his mum!), but the sad thing is that even the best stallion here only gets 10 or 12 mares at the most, so it's not really worth keeping a horse entire when he's much easier to look after as a gelding.
