This will be a test. So far, I've been able to fade every other black horse we've had, but this guy is really inky blue-black. Of course, he's had to be in a stall since May 6 so his wound can be cared for, so he hasn't had a chance to fade. They don't have an easy way to move him from the stall to a paddock, and the boarding barn that the Wild Horse Fund uses in cases like this doesn't have staff capable of handling an unhandled stallion. I'll try to get him gentled and halter-broken and leading ASAP, so he can get outside more. Karen Thomas, NC
