I was on a group ride last week and a woman approached me saying that she has an Icelandic that she can't ride and that perhaps I could give her lessons. Ha! Anyway, the thing with her Icey is that it came to her trained in the Icelandic fashion and used also as a dressage horse. It is extremely leg sensitive. I pointed out that poor Svort was trained by me and learned early on to ignore floppy legs, but that I didn't think my poor riding qualified me as anybody's instructor! That is a horse who needs the Florida Fat Circus Pony treatment. If I see her again I will refer her to you Janice. Jacki
