There are also those people, like myself, who decide that "their"
horsemanship is so far removed from what they believe is good
horsemanship thay they go off and do their own thing and never get
involved in the Icelandic "world". I know several peole who have been
completely turned off by the "show" Icelandic people. So, "they" are
also driving away some people. My first experience with Icelandics was
going to a large Icelandic farm and being told to hold the horse's head
up very high and hard, sit back and go. Yuck. Not doin' it. Didn't
buy any of their horses.
