And that is one of the many reasons that BLUP as used in this breed will never be valid. You cannot possibibly know how well you are moving towards a goal if the goal keeps shifting. That's not valid science, nor is it valid statistics. I read somewhere recently that the failing of every breed is when people try to "improve" the breed. I believe that. Karen Thomas, NC
