Laree, did you read that special in The Horse a year or two ago? There is actually some evidence to think those horses in the South (or other hot areas) are less likely to need worming in the summer than in the winter. That seems counterintuitive to me, but apparently worms/worm eggs have more trouble surviving heat than cold. I still worm year round though - I need to buy a microscope. Karen Thomas, NC
