Almost all of my Peruvians have it falling to the right, including on 
horses that turn easiest to the left or pick up the left lead 
preferentially when asked to canter.

If I were picking horses, all else being equal,  I would pick Nasi 
because I have found it easiest to mount horses whose mane falls to the 
right. When you grab a hunk of mane with the reins when mounting there 
is more resistance with a mane growing along the off side of the crest. 
(sure, sure, if I had stronger legs I wouldn't need to be pulling 
myself up at all, but I'm old enough to need all the help I can get 
<g>)
