My heart was in my throat a few moments ago. I looked out the window
to see if the horses had moved away from the pasture area where Gusti
had last been...and all I saw was Kria happily grazing. I looked
around and I saw the gate was wide open and Elska was standing just
outside of it. I guess in our haste to get Gusti loaded on Saturday,
we left an important gate open....

And so the round-up began.

Kria wandered out just to be part of the fun...if everyone else was
going to be coaxed in with treats...she wanted in.

It was all rather a non-event...they were all hot in the sun...and
they knew there was shade where I was leading them...AND they had
treats coming...so everyone wandered in behind me except for Dagur.

Now Dagur is very familiar with yard...goodness knows he's jumped out
numerous times to explore it...so I knew that he was aware of where
the equipment was stored and would probably stay away from it. I
walked back to the tack shed to retrieve a halter and a rope.

When I got back, Dagur started to trot away from me, but when I said
'whoa' he stopped on a dime....and of course for that he got a click
and a treat for that marvelous behaviour... I guess Cara has put a
fairly good stop on him :)...

I am so blessed that these horses are so level-headed...and basically
too lazy to race off in the heat for parts unknown...
