Cary is 235 pounds, doesn't use a breastcollar. He has a bad hip (otherwise fairly athletic) so he has to "waller up" (to use a Janice phrase) onto the horses' backs. His Sensation doesn't slip. I promise...it doesn't. His mounting technique is NOT pretty - he looks like an old man getting on a horse. BUT, he knows how to hold on so he doesn't torque the saddle, so it stays put nicely.
