On even early morning rides when it is still cool but gonna be a scorcher, I wet myself down, clothes and all, and horse too.
Forgot that one. I carry four bottles of water. Two are for me. Two ar for my horse. I pour them on his neck and down his chest. It really helps refresh him. Nancy
