Hi @ll,

Question to the command_endpoint feature. It is not mentionend in the docs so maybe one does have experience with that feature.
command_endpoint does work if I delegate from:
MASTER > SATELLITES.

Does not work:
SATELLITES > MASTER

Some Background:
We do have a distributed icinga2 setup with a master zone and a few child zones with one satellite per zone. We populate the satellites with service or host objects with ansible and do not use the cluster sync feature for that topic.
Icinga Node communications trough SSL does work flawless.

On our satellites we do have some checks wich belongs to the zone, but cannot get executed from the zone, instead it need to be executed on the master. But we don’t want to put the check in the master’s zone. It would be great if the service could be delegated from the satellite to be executed on the master.

This does not work.

Question:
- Is this a default behavior and known by the developers?
- Does anybody have some similar setup and could confirm that it works.
