command_endpoint is used by the client mode “command execution bridge” and 
should be implemented as such (check the relevant documentation chapter). This 
works merely top-down, that is a master executing a check on the client. This 
does not work vice-versa and was not designed to behave “bottom up”. There are 
no plans to change that at the moment.

To be honest I’ve never seen such a requirement in the wild. If you want checks 
for a specific zone being executed by the master themselves, put that 
configuration on the master in its zone and let it execute “locally”.
