Dear Icinga Users: The company I currently work for uses Nagios 3.3.1 as our Monitoring solution, and it has worked quite well for our needs, however because my company is a hosting company we are now obligated to generate monthly reports to all our clients of our Uptime Availability, and obviously Nagios leaves much to be desired for good Reports.
I noticed that Icinga is suppose to have extra functionality to add to the Reporting Features that Nagios has, looks like with some add-on (Jasper). My boss is wanting me to find a monitoring solution that has really good reporting features, where I can automate each month reports to be generated in PDF or whatever format that we can send to clients. Obviously being a Nagios user I noticed Icinga, which I have been very pleased with the speed of updates compared to Nagios (which has been slow). I also have looked at Zenoss, and Zabbix, but so far haven't really felt that one really stood out to me as of yet. I would appreciate anyone's feedback on this matter. Thanks much.
