The installation of the icinga 1.7 application has been completed
along with the nagios-plugins 1.4.15 source files. When the configuration
was done with the latter, the options that were used were the following:
--prefix=/usr/local/icinga' '--with-cgi-url=/icinga/cgi-bin'
'--with-htmurl=icinga' '--with-nagios-user=icinga'
'--with-nagios-group=icinga'
It appeared the plugins installed without issue, and when they are run
on the localhost, the output appears to be correct. When checking
the icinga.log file, entries like the one shown below repeatedly
appear in the file.
[1338145128] error executing command
'/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe': No such file or directory.
Make sure that the file actually exists (in PATH, if set) and is
executable!
What would cause these errors to occur, and should I be concerned?
Unless you care to show the appropriate command and service definition
along with the corresponding resource file entry it seems to be more a
matter of guessing...
