See my other message:

The alerts appear in the log. Let's take service IMAP on host aetius:

$ grep 'aetius;IMAP' /var/log/icinga/icinga.log
...
[1351676945] SERVICE ALERT: aetius;IMAP;CRITICAL;SOFT;1;CRITICAL - Socket
timeout
+after 10 seconds
[1351677055] SERVICE ALERT: aetius;IMAP;OK;SOFT;2;IMAP OK - 0.120 second
response
+time on port 143 [* OK [CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 UIDPLUS CHILDREN NAMESPACE
+THREAD=ORDEREDSUBJECT THREAD=REFERENCES SORT QUOTA IDLE ACL ACL2=UNION
STARTTLS]
+Courier-IMAP ready. Copyright 1998-2010 Double Precision, Inc. See COPYING for
+distribution information.]

The alerts are also visible on the Web interface, "Service Alert
History":

[2012-10-31 10:50:55] SERVICE ALERT: aetius;IMAP;OK;SOFT;2;IMAP OK - 0.120
second
+response time on port 143 [* OK [CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 UIDPLUS CHILDREN
NAMESPACE
+THREAD=ORDEREDSUBJECT THREAD=REFERENCES SORT QUOTA IDLE ACL ACL2=UNION
STARTTLS]
+Courier-IMAP ready. Copyright 1998-2010 Double Precision, Inc. See COPYING for
+distribution information.]
[2012-10-31 10:49:05] SERVICE ALERT: aetius;IMAP;CRITICAL;SOFT;1;CRITICAL -
Socket
+timeout after 10 seconds

But, when I ask for the trends of the last 24 hours for this service,
I get an empty graph:

Indeterminate: 100.000%
