ok, that smells like a bug, as my dev instance (1.8.1 + some ido fixes) 
behaves quite the same on various checks. likely it's best to escalate 
to ricardo with an issue at dev.icinga.org - classic ui section. i'll 
try to fiddle with that in the next days, but #3408 is driving me crazy 
currently.
