The first round of the 2010 SAISA Team Race was sailed in the Cooper River in a WSW wind @10-15 knots. Sailors came back to shore for a short lunch break following round one. The second and third rounds were sailed on Crab Bank, in Charleston Harbor. The second round was started in a light SW wind @ 5-10 knots which switched to a South wind and built to 15-18 knots. All races were sailed using the College N. Many thanks to Christine Accettella, Justin Law, John Bowden, David Dabney, & Noel Shriner for volunteering their time to umpire this event. No protests or breakdowns were filed. Thanks to the Charleston undergrads who helped with the race managment and congratulations to Eckerd and Charleston for qualifying for the 2010 ICSA Team Race National Championships.
