Day 1 of the Admiral Moore TR opened with a fluky northerly breeze and strong right-to-left current, but thankfully those conditions turned into a gorgeous 6-12 knot easterly breeze after the first flight of races. In all, 70 races were completed leaving a little over a half of a round robin to complete before the final four group is decided. A big thanks go out to the Maritime sailors for putting in a long day today and to Umpire Ted Green II for keeping things honest (not to be overshadowed by his son Ted Green III who served as PRO).
Racing concluded around 5:45PM and 6 protests were filed resulting in two race-changing results.
