The United States Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT, located on the Thames River announces a national search for the position of Intercollegiate Sailing Coach for the Academy's highly competitive intercollegiate sailing program.
The coach will work with the present coaching staff and the Director of Sailing in all aspects of the administration and coaching of the varsity intercollegiate sailing team. Essential functions include but are not limited to the responsibility of planning and managing recruiting on a national level, coaching, conditioning and monitoring academic performance of our cadet student athletes. Additional responsibilities include program management, regatta preparation (home and away), logistics, travel schedules, equipment maintenance, and public relations.
