[ http://wso2.org/jira/browse/IDENTITY-144?page=comments#action_13872 ] Ruchith Fernando commented on IDENTITY-144: -------------------------------------------
We only associate a unique site specific identifier (PPID) value with of the card with a user when we register a user with a card. This is because the identity provider can be configured to require different user properties such as first name, last name, email etc. And there can be instances where none of those are required. So we can only rely on the PPID which will be there irrespective of the configuration. > Display name of the logged in user is not the card name or user name > -------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: IDENTITY-144 > URL: http://wso2.org/jira/browse/IDENTITY-144 > Project: WSO2 Identity Solution > Issue Type: Bug > Components: identity-provider > Affects Versions: Current (Nightly) > Environment: WinXP, JDK1.5, IE7 > Reporter: Yumani Ranaweera > Assigned To: Ruchith Fernando > Fix For: 1.0 > > > Steps to recreate: > -------------------- > 1.
