  as i understand it, IDNs in Hangeul, for example, are for
people who understand Hangeul, not for non-Hangeul-aware people.  
  if some company's main customers are people using Hangeul, 
then they can use IDN in Hangeul.  if that company also
wants to attract people using English, then they should use
English domain name too (of course, the contents 
of web pages must be in English as well).

  am i missing something here?
