--- Start of Idrisi List message Hullo fellow Idrisians, I was wondering if anybody knew a way to use the soft classifier modules with more than 7 bands. I'm using a multitemporal Landsat image for mapping forest cover in boreal mixedwoods, and best results, according to the literature, are obtained using bands 3,4,5 and NDVI for 2 dates ( hardwoods leaves on and off). That makes 8 bands... I'd like to use the fuzzy classification, especially to decide how many classes I can safely use. I was wondering if there's any way to use the FUZCLASS module with more than 7 bands. I guess this implies that MAKESIG must use more than 7 bands. Or should I resort to some other software package?
