--- Start of Idrisi List message Hi Idrisians ! It could seem strange to post an arc-view question on an Idrisi mail list but you will understand why I hope to get here an answer (I tried the ESRI mail list too without success). I'm writing an application which is a kind of Idrisi module : it takes as input Idrisi images, applies some complex analytical operations and produces new Idrisi images. Well there are a few collaborators who are interested by this analytical operation but they use ArcInfo or ArcView and thus their raster images are in the ESRI grid format. No problem, I thougt : I will rewrite my Input/Output procedures to access the grid files as easily as I accessed the Idrisi rasters... Alas ! ESRI is not so kind : it was difficult to obtain the informations but I finally got the "avgridio.dll" and its small help file. But the problem is that it doesn't work well. I can read the informations of the grid (equivalent to the idrisi *.doc files) but not the data themselves (the *.img files). Perhaps some of you has experience with grids ? I'm programming in Delphi 4 but any help will be appreciated. Please note however that converting grid to Idrisi is not possible to me. I know how to do this but my purpose is to treat the grid files directly without any conversion. Thanks in advance, /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ Alexandre HIRZEL Labo. de Biologie de la Conservation Institut d'Ecologie Tel:(+4121) 692 41 76 Faculte des Sciences, Bat.
