We purchased the Idrisi32 upgrade and installed it on two Win95 machines. We
had terrible problems. The PC's kept on crashing irretrievably - both in
Idrisi as well as in various other programmes - and we were having to
re-boot our machines many times each day. We tried to solve the problem
telephonically with the Idrisi support team, but in the end nothing helped.
We had to re-format both hard drives. Both PCs are now running Windows 2000
and we have had no problems since then.
According to Idrisi customer support they had not come across any problems
before. This was in February. There may be a clash with a particular
installation, which few people use - what do I know!
Regards, Marlies
