Hi all, My name is Tim and I am currently undertaking my Honours degree in Agriculture at UWS - Hawkesbury in Richmond (suburb of Sydney) in Australia. I am using GIS to identify vegetation communities in a 5 kilometre area, with the aide of supervised classification in Idrisi32. I am also using past aerial photography to examine land cover change over a 14 year period. Recently small sample areas were recorded with the use of the Trimble Pro XRS GPS / DGPS. I am trying to use the GPS link through Idrisi in order to display the recorded vegetation training sites obtained from fieldwork in the lab, but since the aerial imagery is of a 'plane' reference system, I am unable to get into it. And once I get into it, whether it will allow me to download information from the datalogger. I am wondering if anyone can help me with this? I am relatively new to the Idrisi environment and any help would be greatly appreciated. I have also attached a copy of the metadata for the imagery to this email.
