--- Start of Idrisi List message Hello everybody As part of studies on the distribution and abundance of insect vectors of Chagas disease in Central and South America, I´m seeking the longest possible time series (>=5 years) of (ideally) monthly data of rainfall in raster format for central and south america. Colleagues in Europe use cold-cloud-duration images from archived Meteosat data to estimate rainfall, but I can´t find a similar approach (ccd or temporal series archives) used in south-central america GOES receiving stations.
