Hello again. More or less a follow up question to
my previous posting on the watershed module, I am having difficulties
deciphering the logic behind it. I have constructed a 5 by 5 grid and a seed
image to aid in the interpretation, but the results are somewhat skewed.
Does the Idrisi32 watershed module work differently then the previous 16bit
version? It is my understanding that when neighbour cell A looks at watershed
cell B the azimuth of A has to be within +/-45 degrees of the aspect from A to
B. Unfortunately, there seems to be no consistency in what is acceptable and
what is not.
