As a new stater with Idrisi-32 I downloaded the boundary of Nigeria from the digital
map of the world site including roads and settlements(Ikm resolution). I also
downloaded 10-day 8-km
AVHRR- NDVI PAL data and recomposite them to Annual NDVI composites covering Nigeria
and bits of its neibouring countries (Rep. of Benin, Niger, Chad and Cameroun).
The NDVI composites have been projected to latlong. I tried resampling the Vector
boundary map already in latlong to the resolution of the NDVI image (8km). As the
resolution of the NDVI is too coarse and only the southern part of both images have
identical features as control points around the coast (Gulf of Guinea) I have problems
in getting the vector and raster to fit over the Nigerian boundary. Please can anyone
shed more light.
