Hi, We will shortly be sending out an invitation to participate in a survey seeking community input on the capabilities, attributes, and expectations the Internet Architecture Board (IAB <https://iab.org/>) should consider when selecting a future Independent Submissions Editor (ISE <https://www.rfc-editor.org/authors/rfc-independent-submissions/>). This will be sent to the IETF announcement list, the IRTF announcement list, WG Chairs list, RFC Interest list, and RSWG list, as well as directly to those who have published an RFC via the Independent Stream in the past 15 years.
