Oddly, I thought that the IETF network was intended to be a utility service
network, for use by participants, rather than a demonstration effort for
various educational (or experimental) goals.
The rule that engineers (and others) should live with what they impose on
their customers is generally a good one, but the IETF event permits no
serious learning, just an opportunity for communications hassles during a
critical week.
