This deck-chair rearrangement stuff is as predictable as it is pointless.
The only good point about the ID is that at least it puts most carriers on
the same footing and gives them some level of ability to continue to
support their customers' ipv4 connectivity requirements.  In its absence, a
lot of providers will end up using even worse alternatives.
