* View Menu Sync Log will give you some basic relevant information as to which
file / folder is syncing.
* Set the log level in Simias.log4net to DEBUG and Simias.log will have
detailed logging. Check community.ifolder.com wiki for more details on
Debugging
* IIRC, there was a bug that first time syncing shared folders doesnot sync all
files [ first time ] and manually needs to be synced once. However, I am not
sure if this issue existed.

Hello everyone,
I have several different iFolder users that are experiencing
synchronization issues. The iFolder clients show "Incomplete
synchronization," followed by "nnn items not synchronized," where nnn is
some number.
The following are the relevant details of the iFolder system and the
users who are having problems:
- The iFolder system is running iFolder 3.8. All clients are at the 3.8
level too.
- All of the clients who have experienced the problem are running
Windows Vista, with the 32-bit iFolder client. However, I'm not sure
this is specific to Windows Vista or the Windows iFolder client.
- The log window in the clients don't show anything useful. It will
just show that the particular iFolder was synchronized, when in fact it
was not. Is there a way to turn on more detailed logging?
- On shared iFolders, one computer will show that all files are
synchronized but another computer will show the above messages that some
items are not synchronized.
- Some of the iFolder users only have problems syncing a dozen or so
files. Other iFolder users are having problems syncing thousands of
files. Yikes!
What do I need to do to troubleshoot this issue and hopefully fix it?
I'm hopeful that I can fix this on the server as some of the users are
remote. Any insight or help you can provide would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Brad
