Warpcon also do this - asking the writers to supply GMs for other tables of their games - but then we do occasionally get the problem of multiple writers suggesting the same GMs for their games scheduled in the same slot - so either not checking with the people they're volunteering firstly, or not checking the con timetable secondly...Also, usually a writer will suggest up to 4 GMs and, as mentioned above, we regularly get 6 or 7 tables of games of particular systems or writers at our con, and we still end up short of GMs. It's difficult to know in advance how many tables/GMs one will need before tickets go on sale. That said, I've never been an RPG co-ordinator, so I don't have first hand experience of the job... [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
