The directory in question is /pub/KDE/unstable/ which takes a good 1.7GB
of
space. That is when the KDE 2.1 final is not present on IGLU.
Is it possible to delete it now that KDE 2.1 is out?
I think we should consider what exactly do we mirror.
For instance, we seem to have the IA-64 distribution of RedHat on the
server and it takes 5.1GB of space. Now, how many IA-64 machines are in
Israel at the moment?
I know that in the Technion, Orr Dunkelman managed to save space by
loop mounting the ISO's. Do you think it would be a good idea to try such
a stunt?
All in all, I hope I can find a fast site to download KDE 2.1 from.
