We could maintain exclude lists. There already are such lists for some
of the mirrors (notably the distributions). But 1.7 GB is not THAT
much, anyway.

There already is a quite extensive exclude list for Red Hat, so I've
added ia64 to it, and removed it from the archive. That was a good
idea.

It's possible, but requires work and fine-tuning all the time (when
new stuff is added, etc.) I don't know how rsync responds to this -- I
don't know if it makes any troubles. I don't think I have time for
this at the moment.

The rsync of our KDE mirror didn't finish tonight, so I restarted the
mirroring process just now; I hope it finishes soon. I'll try to keep
track of it and perhaps send the list a message.
