What do you mean? Present everything in visual Hebrew? What will be the language of the site? English or Hebrew? If Hebrew: Visual or logical? Viewing and presenting English is easier (both on the client side and on the server side), but yet we are in Israel despite the Intifada, taxes, Hebrew, and all ;-) If Hebrew is chosen as the language then we can try to convert the content (at the server side, before presenting it) to visual Hebrew. This is the was haayal.co.il, haaratz.co.il and many other sites work. But this requires nore work for the programmer, and the result is more problematic (line breaks, anybody?), so I believe that this is not the path to take. I believe that the content of the site should be in logical Hebrew. Even if it means that some people hebrew will have trouble reading this site. Also: to allow easy addition of content in other languages, the UTF-8 encoding should be used, rather than ISO-8859-8-i/windows-1255 (search linux-il's archives on this topic and on related problems). -- Tzafrir Cohen mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.technion.ac.il/~tzafrir ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives available at http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
