And I'm getting > a little tired of Zope, too. kernel 2.4 is not yet realy ready. it might work, and it might break. i've seen it work mostly flawlessy in some places, and break flawlessly in some others. lets wait until 2.4.22 (or any version in which they'll finish inserting all the VM fixes that do seem to work well) and then upgrade to it. by the way, i am running a redhat 7.2 system with a 2.2.19 kernel on some machine - it seems to be useable (i.e. we use it as a development server). ofcourse, that machine doesn't serve as an ftp server. so we might meanwhile choose to go to that sick combination :) i sugget, however, that we first get the zoep system replaced, before we do the upgrade to 7.2. or we can go the other way around. but not do both at once, since that's bound to break the server in most interesting ways. or we wait for redhat 7.3 to become stable now? i don't see why we care for the changes between 7.2 and 7.3, though.
