Couldn't we scrab some space just for those poor few ISOs? 'cmon, check what du -s /storage/ftp/mirrors/* tells, see who's getting too large - and remember - don't touch debian :) For example, I've just freed 1GB by erasing and excluding old KDE betas and alphas from 'unstable'.
