All that is OK. There only two problems with not having an IP (and HTTP/0.9
is no longer one of them ;)): FTP and SSL. I don't need SSL, and FTP isn't
too big of a problem (create an "/pub/ivrix" directory in ftp.iglu.org.il,
and pretend the URL is ftp://ftp.ivrix.org.il/pub/ivrix, while an
ftp://iglu.org.il/pub/ivrix will do exactly the same).

ivrix.org.il will be a whole new zone. The question of whether ivrix.org.il.
itself will be an A or CNAME isn't terribly important, I think A is better.
Anyway, now that I know more or less who the appropriate people to approach,
I'll just send you the zone files and so on as needed.

Also, I'll probably put the "ivrix.org.il" DNS and MX in the technion for
a transition period, before I can get these things working on IGLU -
since the mailing list is currently Ivrix's most important feature. I'll
want to move the website and ftp site first, as it is less serious if
it doesn't work for a couple of days because of a boo-boo.

Yes, it can have only one DNS server. But I can also get seconderies.
Anyway, as said I'll put the DNS server in the technion temporarily,
until the trest of the stuff works.

:)
Then who is the mail guru on iglu?

Another thing that will need to happen is to have domain-based email
aliases: for example email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] will might go to
a different person from [EMAIL PROTECTED] I've done this a lot on
sendmail (the "virtusertable" feature), but I don't know anything about
qmail.

Anyway, in the transition period I'll use the technion as an MX, so you
wouldn't have to worry about mail to ivrix.org.il initially.
