IIS Gurus,

I was wondering what the best procedure would be to generate a new
certificate for a website that already has a SSL certificate that has not
yet expired. I can't renew the current certificate because some of the
information needs to change (particularly the organization's name).

When I go to the website in the IIS snap-in under the Directory Security tab
I do not have an option to generate a new SSL cert because one is already in
place. Can I simply generate the new SSL Cert under a different website
that has no SSL, then when complete remove it from that website and assign
the new cert to the original website?

Does that sound right or is there a better way?

Thanks,
Steve
