Hi,
I've installed .NET previously and it went fairly easily. However, I've
installed the latest/last BETA from MS and I'm a little confused. For
allowing web developers to develop in .NET, do I just need the 24MB called
.NET Framework 1.1 Redistributable FINAL BETA -- AND/OR -- do I need that
PLUS the .NET Framework 1.1 SDK FINAL BETA ??
I'm fairly confused now after trying to look at the msdn listings where
there seems to be several versions of the above that are available for use
PLUS the whole Redistributable and SDK are messing with my mind!
Anyway, any info would be great.
All that leads to my next question regarding FrontPage. On the server that
I was installing .NET, it has FrontPage Extensions installed. Now, my
problem arises when I create a virtual web server and try to create FP Exts
... there is no option for me to do this?
Has anyone seen this before? Is it related to me messing around with .NET?
(on the latter ... I've installed .NET a few months back and didn't have
this problem).
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks ... jason,
