This is most frustrating. I tried to talk using google gadgets, and then
came a message saying that to talk thru google gadget one must have google
talk installed in your windows system. It means u cant use it in Linux.

               Arun, I think we need to find another way. What happened
about pidgin?

               Google seems to be Microsoft No. 2. It releases all its apps
in windows. Chrome  has been released 4 windows and google says it will port
it in Linux. But do we really need a web browser? Google spends time on
stupid things which will only enhance its own presence in the market. We
need those other apps of Google in Linux which are worshipped by window
users. *Moral of the story*: " google does not support linux"
