hi all, when i fired up my debian to login ,i saw this GDM could not write to your authorization file. This could mean that you are out of disk space or that your home directory could not be opened for writing. In any case, it is not possible to log in. Please contact your system administrator... as i again tried to login into linux,it says like 'the greeter application appears to be crashing.attempting to use different one'..as i click ok...it shows sm other frontend to login..again after input of username and password, it says like "gdm could not write to authorization file..this could mean that you are out of disk space or that your home directory couldnt be opend for wrinting .in any case it is not possible to log in .please contact your system adminstrator i am myself system administrator.. i removed sm file using console... there r still sm free space ..cheked it out by using 'df'command running in console.. applying all the online help still ,nevertheless hving no solution.. i m feeling screwed now..
