Do one thing,,,
login as root
cd your home directory,,,,
and then apply this

*chown -r rajan:rajan .
*i am assuming that ,, your username is rajan ,, if not change it to your
username
so,, in nutshell you need to apply
chown -r <user-name>:<username> .

after applying type
ls -l
all the direcotory should be now your,, and you will be able to login,,
this problem come where your copy paste home directory from one system to
another,
