My experiments with the pen drive have failed. it seems i can only install
those programs which are available in the original .iso file on the USB.
Thus Ubuntu Ultimate is now an obvious choice. But the IIT repo only has d
1.7 iso. I tried it and I liked it( except booting is slow on d DVD). But b4
installing on the USB I want to try the 1.9 version as I will believe it
will have more features. I dont live in IIT so internet is not free for me.
Can somebody please download it for me and place it in the repos.
Also I wud like to know how can I create an iso
image of a system. Is it too technical for me? Can I make an iso image of my
current system with that choice of programs which are currently installed in
my hard drive Ubuntu?
